Watch on video as California legislators cancel the peoples vote on Proposition 8

Proposition 8 defined marriage as between one man and one woman.

On Tuesday, The Assembly Judiciary Committee held a hearing on Proposition 8. The committee encouraged the California State Supreme Court to overturn Proposition 8. By issuing the resolution the Assembly has officially express its opposition to Proposition 8, calling for its repeal, and stating that it was an “improper revision” to the state constitution.

This negates the will of the voters. Proposition 8, was passed by a clear majority of California voters in November 2008. Fifty-two percent of California voters stood up to protect the family, which is the lynch pin of civilization.

Good for them! It took the lies of a despicable cult to get it passed in the first place.

You like it when your leaders reject the wishes of the majority?

What lies are you talking about?

I think abuses will get even worse under the Obama regime.

Judges can be the arm of oppression when they usurp the will of a free people. If you agree with them on a ruling that opposes freedom, it's time to take a step back. Be it legalizing marijuana use or overturning prop 8, we must hold judges accountable to the cause of freedom or we will all eventually be subjected to tyrany.
